Pursuant to the FOI act, I would like to request the following information. I would be very grateful if the information could be sent back electronically in a readable format (ideally in email, excel or word).
How many potholes on all roads and carriageways were recorded in each year since 2009-10?
How much money was spent in each year since 2009-10 on fixing potholes?
How many claims relating to vehicle damage and injury caused by potholes were paid out by the council in each year since 2009-10?
What was the overall compensation provided by the council for successful claims relating to vehicle damage and injury in each year since 2009-10?
If you refuse to answer any question, in whole or in part, please let me know why it is not possible - referencing the exact exemption in the Act.
If any parts either take longer to answer than other parts, or are not possible to answer (including due to cost considerations), please provide the answers to those you can answer at your earliest convenience.
Please make sure you reply within the 20 working days as specified in the Act.
