Whether high streets within your local authority have free public Wi-Fi.

If free Wi-Fi is provided on high streets within your local authority, who fund and provides that service.

Response

High streets in our Local Authority with free Wi-Fi operated by the council:

- Hastings Station

- Havelock Road

- Hastings promenade

- Priory Street

- Robertson Street - America Ground area

Promenade funding for the infrastructure for the free to access Wi-Fi was provided by Coastal Communities Funding.

There may be other Wi-Fi available offered by another network provider in the high streets, although this information is not held by Hastings Borough Council.
