Contractor Prater Limited

Responded Mon 27 November 2017This is a friendly request for information between Local Authorities and it is not intended to have the Freedom of Information Act's time and reporting restrictions. However, your assistance and timely response would be appreciated.
Our request for information is in regards to the company Prater Limited (Company No: 02107097) . In particular we would like to know:
a) Whether the Authority has any current (ongoing) construction contracts with this company.
b) Whether any of the contractors that the Authority is currently contracted with uses Prater limited as a sub-contractor.
c) Whether the Authority has had any structural or other problems to any of the cladding installed at the surfaces of buildings and supplied by Prater limited.
d) Is the Authority involved in any direct or satellite litigation against Prater Limited.
Response
a) A total search was carried out of the creditors payments system and it was confirmed that has not and is not currently involved with any contracts with Prater Limited. b) To the best of our knowledge, Prater Limited is not sub-contracted on any projects we are involved on. c) Apart from the refurbishment of Muriel Matters House, and there have been no problems concerning the cladding replacement of that, the council has not been involved in any 'building envelope' projects. d) No -
