Local industry agriculture

I am working on an A level geography project investigating effectiveness of coastal management at Camber Sands and Hastings Sea front. Before making an exact hypothesis I was wondering if I would be able to have access to any data you may have regarding local industry, agriculture in the region and also information on Beach management strategies. Any information would be of use!

Hastings Borough Council do not hold the exact information requested but we have attached a draft beach management plan put together in 2008 which outlines our responsibilities. This is the most up to date version on file. You may wish to contact Canterbury City Council, who through the East Kent Engineering Partnership are responsible for coastal protection in Hastings and other areas including Camber. They would be able to advise what coastal works have taken place, their reasoning and their effectiveness.
