• How many tenant complaints have been made about the state of local authority housing, for each of the last five years

• How many of these complaints resulted in work being done on a tenant's property, broken down for each of the last five years

• How many units of local authority housing do you have, broken down for each of the last five years

• How many people are on the waiting list for a council house, broken down for each of the last five years

Response

Q1 - Hastings Borough Council does not have any council housing stock, they were all transferred in 1996 as a large scale LSVT to 1066 Housing Association, now Optivo. Tenants complain directly to their registered provider. Q2 - Q3 N/A - please see above.  Q4 - Hastings Borough Councill manages the waiting list for social housing, of which there are 1499 households currently on the housing register. On Housing Register as at 1st April: 2013 = 3685 2014 = 978 2015 = 1026 2016 = 1142 2017 = 1338
