Refugee Resettlement

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 I seek the following information, broken down by month since January 2014:

1. Total number of adult refugees resettled by your council under all government resettlement programmes
2. Total number of child refugees resettled by your council under all government resettlement programmes
3. Number of disabled adult refugees successfully resettled by your council
4. Number of disabled child refugees successfully resettled by your council

NB: 'Disabled' refers to those with special educational or mobility needs. 'Resettled' refers to those accepted by your council under central government agreements (or equivalent).

Response

Q1 - Since January 2014, 14 adults have been settled by Hastings Borough Council under the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Programme. They were resettled as follows: two in October 2016, three in December 2016, seven in January 2017 and two in February 2017.

Q2 - Since January 2014, 11 children have been settled by Hastings Borough Council under the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Programme. These children were resettled as follows: three in October 2016, two in December 2016, three in January 2017 and three in February 2017.

Q3 - No disabled adults have been resettled since January 2014, however there is one adult with mobility problems. They are not registered disabled however.

Q4 - No disabled children have been resettled since January 2014.
