I am writing to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the 1994 Code of Practice on Access to Government Information. In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my query as specifically as possible. As you will understand, this may not be a definitive list of relevant information.

I would like to know your full range of policies and guidance in relation to the use of rented social housing as a bed and breakfast businesses by your tenants and those in Housing Association accommodation. I understand that the term bed and breakfast covers a range of business and other models including those such as Air BNB. [1]

I would be interested in any information within your organisation regarding my request. I understand that I do not have to specify particular files or documents and that it is the department's responsibility to provide the information I require.

Hastings Borough Council does not have any social housing so we cannot answer this question, you will need to refer to our registered social landlord organisations.
