Can you tell me the total amount of business rates annually the council expects to collect once the rate rise comes into force?
Can you tell me how many businesses you collected rates from in 2015/16 and 2016/17?

How many of these businesses does your authority estimate will have a lower rates bill once the rises come in?

Q1 - 2015 - 98.25% 2016 - not yet finished until 31/03/2017 Q2 - Gross £29,873,321.84 Net after reliefs and reductions £22,887,165.17 Q3 - Rises are restricted under the new transitional relief Scheme. So the maximum rise would be 42% Q4 - Please find attached 2 spread sheets comparing 2010 list values to 2017 list values. Q5 - As per question 3 decreases also restricted and the maximum decrease would be 20%.
