Responded Wed 26 September 2018Under the Freedom of Information Act please could you provide me with the following information for your area:
For 2017
The number of blue disabled badges that were discovered to be in use despite the holder being deceased
The total amount (in pounds) of pension payments made to people that were subsequently discovered to be deceased or the number of instances of this occurring i.e. how many people have received payments only to be discovered later that they were deceased
The total amount (in pounds) of benefits payments made to people that were subsequently discovered to be deceased or the number of instances of this occurring i.e. how many people have received payments only to be discovered later that they were deceased
Do you have a process in place to identify deceased identity fraud?
