HBC Whistle Blowing Policy
Requested Mon 20 August 2018
Responded Fri 07 September 2018Paragraph 4 of the Officers Code of Conduct (revised April 2017) refers to a whistle blowing policy:
"4. Whistle blowing policy
(a) Part of working towards an effective and successful working environment means asking your help in encouraging others to also follow the guidance given. If you become aware of any conduct that is, or potentially may be, a breach of the guidelines or that could bring the council into disrepute, you should report it to a whistleblowing officer or Public Concern at Work. To support you in raising a concern we have developed a whistleblowing policy.
(b) The whistleblowing policy is a procedure for disclosing any concerns you have about a wide range of issues in a way that confidentiality can be protected and you can be assured that the concern will be taken seriously and dealt appropriately. "
I cannot find the whistleblowing policy on the HBC web site
Please provide me with a copy of this policy.
