We do not hold ward data on our Council Tax database. The powers granted for Liability Orders by the magistrates Court gives the Council the powers to use one of the following methods of recovery and it is up to the Council to decide which is appropriate or to move onto the next method is not successful.
During 2016/17 for all years outstanding we took the following action - In the first instance offered all an arrangement then if not kept to: Benefit deductions - 629, Earnings deductions - 678, Charges on property - 17, Bailiff action - 971.
During 2017/18 - for all years outstanding - Arrangements offered to all and then: Benefit deductions - 331, Earnings deductions - 361, Charge on property - 7, Bailiff action - 348.
