FOI request (FOI-101731488)

According to previous FOI requests concerning energy use by Hastings Borough Council, the authority buys gas and electricity via the LASER consortium and pays approximately £248,000 a year for electricity with 168 metered supplies.

In order for LASER to be able to strike the best deals for the authority, it must have access to the consumption data from the 168 electricity meters.

Please can you supply me with the following:

A) The total quantity of electricity purchased in the Council's most recent financial year;

B) Of this total, the amount of electricity used on the daytime tariff (between 07:30 and 22:30 for NPower).

I am requesting this information in order to assess the benefits that the authority could expect to accrue from the installation of 3 MW of solar photovoltaic generating capacity at Hastings Country Park and Upper Wiltings Farm.
