Inclusion Training

Responded Wed 12 August 2026In 2025 the council committed to undertaking inclusion training for officers and councillors.please can a list of what inclusion training was offered, given to both officers and councillors and who took part at the time if training.can you also share what further inclusion, equality training is now available since the motion.
Response
Hastings Borough Council have two courses within our eLearning portal.
- Equality, Diversion and Inclusion
- Equality and Diversity
Names of officers who took part is exempt information under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act 'personal data', this is an absolute exemption and will not be provided.
These courses are available at all times to all staff and Councillors, and are mandatory to new starters at the Council.
