      I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information:

      1. The total number of ASB cases which were opened during:

          * 2026 (to date)

      2. The number of ASB cases that were closed without formal enforcement action during:

          * 2026 (to date)

      5. Of the cases that went to a full multi-agency review, how many resulted in recommendations that altered or added to the victim’s existing ASB action plan?

          * 2026 (to date)

      Please provide the requested information in a spreadsheet format (such as Microsoft Excel), if possible.

      Response

      1. Information not held - ASB Cases are managed jointly by Hastings Borough Council, Sussex Police a variety of registered social landlords and East Sussex County Council. Sussex Police hold the exact numbers as Hastings Borough Council does not collate this information.

      2. ASB varies depending on its definition and can include any number of issues - Sussex Police hold the data associated with ASB Cases that were substantiated and not progressed.

      3, 4 & 5.

      2025 there were 3 ASB Case reviews requested and to date only 1 in 2026

      Of the 3 requests made in 2025, 2 failed to meet the threshold and 1 was progressed with action resulting to dat. In 2026 there has been 1 request which was implemented and is currently being thoroughly investigated
