I would like to make a request under FOI for the following information.

1. For your local authority area can you confirm who provides your community equipment service?

2. If outsourced, how long is the provider contracted for?

3. Are riser recliner armchairs available through your community equipment service?

a. If yes, what is the eligibility criteria?

b. If yes, what make and model are supplied?

c. On average what are the timescales from referral to delivery?

d. If yes, how many riser recliner armchairs were supplied in 2024 and 2025?

e. If yes, how much do you pay per unit?

4. How many individual funding requests have you considered for seating (in 2024 and 2025)?

5. If your community equipment service does not provide seating, what is the process for a resident who is assessed as needing a riser recliner armchair?

6. Would your local authority be interested in re-using/refurbishing equipment such as riser recliner armchairs if it was available for local collection?
