I would like to submit a Freedom of Information request to understand the Learning Disabilities support offered by your Local Authority to adults aged 18-64. I am looking for information on care provided in both Residential care and Supported living settings.

I have attached an excel spreadsheet to aid in collecting the data that I have requested. I would be grateful if you could use it as a template for your response.

The data I would like to request is the following, for the financial years ending March 2022, March 2023, March 2024 and the period April 2024 to December 2024 (please see attached excel for details):

1. For placements in residential care settings, what was the proportion of placements with an average weekly fee above £2,750, split by:

a. All placements

b. New placements

c. Discharged placements

2. For placements in supported living settings, what was the proportion of placements with an average weekly fee above £2,750 (total), split by:

a. All placements

b. New placements

c. Discharged placements

3. For placements in residential care settings, what was the proportion of placements with an average weekly fee above £2,500, split by:

a. All placements

b. New placements

c. Discharged placements

4. For placements in supported living settings, what was the proportion of placements with an average weekly fee above £2,500 (total), split by:

a. All placements

b. New placements

c. Discharged placements

The following questions relate to adults 18-64 with Prader Willi Syndrome specifically.

5. How many individuals 18-64 with Prader Willi Syndrome are there in the area you cover?

6. For people 18-64 with Prader Willi Syndrome, how many were supported in:

a. Residential care settings

b. Supported living settings

7. For people 18-64 with Prader Willi Syndrome, how many new placements were made in:

a. Residential care settings

b. Supported living settings

8. For people 18-64 with Prader Willi Syndrome, what was the average weekly fee for those supported in:

a. Residential care settings

b. Supported living settings

9. For people 18-64 with Prader Willi Syndrome, what was the proportion of placements with an average weekly fee above £3,000, split by:

a. Residential care settings

b. Supported living settings

For all items, please provide the information split across:

a. Where the care setting is “in-area” (the local area covered by the Local Authority)

b. Where the care setting is “out-of-area” (outside the local area covered by the Local Authority)
