Under the terms of the Freedom of Information (FOI) act, I am writing to you with the following requests for information:

1. How many sites owned by the council are allocated for development in the local plan?

2. What is the total size of these sites (preferably expressed in ha²)?

3. Details of the allocated sites held by the council, including size and current use.

Response

1. The following sites, at the time of the Development Management Plan (DMP) adoption in 2015, were in Hastings Borough Council's (HBC) ownership.

Since the Plan's adoption some of these sites have come forward for development, development has taken place and they are no longer in HBC ownership.

Other sites have been disposed of by the Council for development purposes.

The following list contains the site allocation reference number for each site. The site details are set out in the DMP, which can be accessed at:

LRA8 - HBC owned

GH2 - HBC owned

GH8 - partially built

GH9 - HBC owned

GH10 - no longer in HBC ownership

GH11 - HBC owned

FB3 - HBC owned

FB10 - no longer in HBC ownership

SH1 - partially owned by HBC

HT2 - no longer in HBC ownership

HTC4 - now built
