I am writing to you under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request information regarding bins in your council area.

I would like to request all available information regarding the number of council-operated public bins and dog waste bins in each of the past five years (2019 to 2024, up to and inclusive of 16th February 2024).

Response

Hastings Borough Council can only supply the current number of bins.

We have 56 dog bins, and 1037 bins in total on our database (general litter, recycling, dog, park, and OSCOR bins).
