In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information.

Does the council have a four-day working week policy?

Response

Hastings Borough Council (HBC) does not have a policy for a four-day working week. However, HBC does have a Flexible Working Policy that includes the option for staff to request compressed hours. This is where staff can work their contracted hours over fewer days.
