I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Could you tell me please:

1. The number of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants who arrived illegally, who were being housed by the council in the financial years 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-2021, 2021-22, 2022-23, and from April 2023 until now (June 16, 2023). I would like these broken down by the financial years in question.

2. For each financial year, would you please provide a breakdown of the type of housing they were in, for example, hotels, hostels, council properties, and so on, and the numbers in each type of housing.
