Electric Vehicle Charging Installations

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to know the following:

1. The number of charging points for electric vehicles installed by your local authority

2. The cost of installing these charging points

3. I would like data for each of the last three years, with a year-end March 31st 2023.

Response

1. 21 installed in car parks in the last 3 years

2. These 21 EV units cost £48,984.97 + VAT to install

3a. 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023 - 11,174 charging sessions using 169,618.76 kWh energy

3b. 1st April 2021 to 31st March 2022 - 3,529 charging sessions using 44,352.06 kWh energy

3c. 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021 - 868 charging sessions using 6,093.77 kWh energy
