Please advise the number of office based staff that are currently working from home and not in the council offices and advise why, after this amount of time, this is being condoned by Hastings Borough Council.

Response

Hastings Borough Council operates a hybrid working policy allowing staff to work from home or in the office dependant on the needs of the service. This policy is important tool for recruitment and retention and has proven to be very effective for productivity.

In respect of the precise number working from home/in the office, this information is not held and also varies on a day to day basis.
