If there is a hazard identified at the property, then the Housing Options Team will expect the provider to address and put this right themselves in order for to continue using the property. If a serious hazard is found, then the Housing Renewal Team may issue a formal notice under the Housing Act if a Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) inspection is completed.
