Lund Fund grants Hastings Country Park

In recent correspondence the HBC Natural Resource Manager states that HBC has received Lund fund grant funding:

"Hastings Borough Council has been a successful recipient of Lund Fund grants over a number of years, from Heathland restoration and last year for wildflower establishment in farm fields. We are continuing to monitor the establishment of any native flora and may request a further grant from the Lund fund should we need to reinforce the areas with additional sowing. These projects are favoured by HBC and the High Weald Unit as they provide tangible biodiversity benefits for the reserve."

Please supply, under EIR, details of Lund Fund grants received by HBC for the Country Park from 2010 to date. Details should include:

a. Date of grant

b. Value of grant

c. Purpose of grant

d. Supporting documentation (in any format) for the grant Supporting correspondence (in any format) between Lund and HBC

Response

2017 - £8,494 - Heather restoration and mixed species hedge.

2021 - £5,020 - Floristic enhancements to farm fields.
