Please can you provide all information for the financial year 2020-21, and from the start of financial year 2021 to 31 December 2021, for the following:

1. How many trees have you planted?

2. How many trees have you removed/cut down/destroyed?

Response

1. Trees planted:

2020 = 150

2021 = 175

2. Hastings Borough Council does not destroy trees. We fell trees as follows:

2020 = 178

2021 = 159

The reason why we fell trees is because they are dead/dying, Dutch elm disease or Ash dieback.
