Mould and damp

Responded Fri 13 November 2020I would like to request the following under the Freedom of Information Act.
1. How many tenants (residents in homes for which you have responsibility for maintenance) did you have between Jan 2019 - Jan 2020?
2. How many complaints/enquiries did you receive relating to mould or damp from your tenants between Jan 2019 - Jan 2020?
3. How long on average did it take to resolve these enquiries/complaints?
4. What was the estimated total cost of responding to these requests between Jan 2019 - Jan 2020?
Response
Q1 - We have 29 properties that we managed in that time frame.
Q2 - According to our records for our Social Lettings Agency we have had 8 damp issues reported.
Q3 - Each case is different. As we only manage the property we have to go back to the property owners first to see what action they plan to take. We have in the past been able to access assistance from Environmental Health. As damp needs to dry out it will take at least a couple of weeks for an dehumidifier to draw out access water. Or it could be a few months depending on where the damp issue originated from.
Q4 - Information not held - As we only manage the properties the costs are down to the property owner who normally use their own contractors in most cases.
