Responded Wed 14 October 2020Please provide the number of households who applied to your council for support from April 1, 2020 to the most recently available date and were found to be legally homeless.
Please break this down by:
a) threatened with homelessness- prevention duty owed
b) threatened with homelessness due to service of valid Section 21 Notice - prevention Duty owed
c) already homeless - relief duty owed.How many local connection referrals where the council accepted a main duty were received in the same time period (April 1, 2020, to the most recent date)?
By 'legally homeless' I mean approaches from households where the council has accepted a homeless duty during the period requested.
Response
Legally homeless from 1st April 2020 to 30/09/2020:
(a) threatened with homelessness - prevention duty owed = 168
(b) threatened with homelessness due to service of valid Section 21 Notice - prevention duty owed = 33
(c) already homeless - relief duty owed = 251.
How many local connection referrals where the council accepted a main duty were received in the same time period (April 1, 2020, to the most recent date)? = 0
