This is to do with the administration of Street Cleaning

Please supply the following:

1. Budget for financial year 2019/2020.

2. Number of employees and location (ie whether office or out on the ground).

3. Management structure and who is responsible for what.

4. Number of types of equipment. Whether this equipment is owned or leased.

5. Maintenance contracts, if any, if in-house where is the maintenance shed.

6. Duty rosters for street cleaners and vehicle operators that collect fly tipping including area allocated and streets to be cleaned.

7. HBC's original document that must have been presented to the council when proposes went forward to bring this section in-house.

Q2 - Number of employees and location (ie whether office or out on the ground) - 27 employed street cleaners operating from 85/86 Castleham Road + 2x supervisors

Q3 - Management structure and who is responsible for what. See attached

4x Isuzu N35 cage tipper

2x Isuzu N75 cage tipper

1x Vauxhall Movano wash unit

2x Scarab Merlin XP (inc. maintenance contract for mounted equipment)

1x Johnson CN202 (inc. maintenance contract)

1x Farid Minimatic (inc. maintenance contract for mounted equipment)

1x Ford Transit Courier

Q5 - All owned Maintenance contracts, if any, if in house where is the maintenance shed - Chassis maintenance is carried out by an external company.

Q6 - Duty rosters for street cleaners and vehicle operators that collect fly tipping including area allocated and streets to be cleaned.

2x rapid response crews.

Shifts: 6am - 2pm; 11.30am - 8pm. Monday - Sunday

Jobs are allocated ad hoc depending on customer requests and proactive monitoring.
