1. What is the council's set budget for expenditure on sport and leisure facilities for the following two years:

a. 2012 (so the 2011/2012 budget)

b. 2020 (so the 2019/2020 budget)

2. I would also like to know how many of the following facilities were owned/operated by the council for the above two years (so January 2012 and January 2020) please:

Public swimming pools. Also, how many of these pools are Olympic-sized? (2012 and 2020)

Public athletics tracks (2012 and 2020)

Public cycling tracks/velodromes (2012 and 2020)

Public playing fields/football rugby pitches does the council own/operate (2012 and 2020). This does not need to be broken down by size etc.

a) 2011/12 - £62,110

b) 2019/20 - £79,110

Public swimming pools - Hastings Borough Council (HBC) operated one public swimming pool in both periods

Public athletics tracks - HBC has not operated a public athletics track in either period

Public cycling tracks/velodrome - HBC has not operated a cycling track/velodrome in either period

Public playing fields/football rugby pitches does the council own/operate -

Public playing fields 2012 - 2020 - 5

Football pitches in 2012 - 21

Football pitches in 2020 - 18*

Rugby pitches in 2012 - 0

Rugby pitches in 2020 - 0

* though the figure has reduced the number of venues remains the same, exact pitch provision varies season by season as user demand varies.
