Fixed Penalty Notices

I would like to make a freedom of information request under The Freedom of Information Act for the following information:

1. I would like to know how many Fixed Penalty Notices have been issues in the previous 3 years - 2016 to 2019.

2. I would like to know specifically how many Fixed Penalty Notices have been issues for littering in the previous 3 years.

3. I would like to know the location of the Fixed Penalty Notices issued for littering in the previous 3 years.

In the year 2016 - 2017 157 Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) were issued. Of these 31 FPNs were issued for littering at: Russell Street, Magdalen Road, Warrior Square, West Hill Road, Kent Road, Priory Street car Park, Harold Road, Asda, Cornwallis Terrace, Chiltern Drive, Kings Road, Pelham Place, Priory Street, Frewyn Close, Kings Road, York Gardens, The High Street, Pelham Place, George Street, Sedlescombe Road North, John Macadam Way, Church Road, Trinity Passage, Wellington Place, White Rock, Queens Road, London Road, The Ridge, Old London Road, Battle Road, and Dymond Road

In the year 2017 - 2018 60 FPNS were issued. Of these 15 FPNs were issued for littering at: Kenilworth Road, Laser Lane, Trinity Passage, Kings Road, Robertson Terrace, Carlisle Parade, Robertson Passage, Carpenter Drive, Ingleside, Pelham Place, Bohemia Road, Mount Pleasant Road, Church Wood Drive, Beauclerk Way, and Marina

In the year 2018 - 2019 105 FPNs were issued. Of these 35 FPNs were issued for littering at: Wellington Square, Wellington Square, Stonefield Road, Robertson Street, Chapel Park Road, Robertson Terrace, Robertson Passage, Wellington Place, Battle Road, Trinity Passage, Breeds Places, Albert Road, Laser Lane, Tower Road, South Street, Bulverhythe Road, Warrior Gardens, Manor Road, Church Wood Drive, Ingleside, Wellington Square, Harold Place, Albert Road, Station Approach, Battle Road, Wellington Square, Breeds Place, Wellington Square, Waldegrave Street, St. Andrews Square, West Street, Shornden Passage, Warrior Gardens, Farley Bank, and Wellington Square.

From July 2017 the council contract a private enviro-crime organisation on a 12 month pilot to enforce littering offences. This company had officers authorised by the council to issue FPNs for littering. In this 12 months a further 2,693 FPNs were issued for littering but we do not hold the information for the locations of each offence.
