I have become aware that some HBC employees receive lease cars as part of their employment package.

Could you please provide the following information:

The number of employees who receive lease cars as part of their employment package.

A breakdown by grade of the number of employees who receive lease cars as part of their employment package

The cost to HBC of providing these lease cars

The cost to HBC of providing driver insurance for these cars

The cost to HBC of providing second driver insurance (for example to spouses) for these cars

Q1 - 9

Q2- The staff that still have lease cars are all receiving them under historic contracts. The lease car scheme was withdrawn 27/11/2001.

Q3 - During 2018/19 the cost of lease vehicles to Hastings Borough Council was £47,709.41

Q4 - £3837.30, this includes spouses.
