In your supplier payments over £250 listings for January and February on your website £40,502.37 is listed as having been paid against the 'Renewable Energy Solutions' cost centre (see https://www.hastings.gov.uk/my-council/transparency/budgets/). Please would you tell me what these payments were for and the nature of the business behind these transactions.

These transactions relate to the installation of photovoltaic solar panels on 2 properties owned by the Council (Muriel Matters House and Castleham Business Centre East). The companies the payments were made to are involved in the design, installation, implementation and maintenance of the solar panels.
