Housing allocations Alexandra Park Mansions

I wish to make the following requests under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:

Alexandra Park Mansions, St Helen's Crescent, Hastings TN34 2LU  is social housing for older people managed by registered social landlord Optivo. It comprises 65 two-bedroom flats and 60 one-bedroom flats. Facilities include communal gardens, lounge, games room, laundry, social club, on site concierge and hairdressers. Please state:

(a) How many properties at Alexandra Park Mansions have been allocated through the council's Homemove choice based lettings scheme for each year for which records exist?

(b) How many applicants for sheltered accommodation are currently registered with Hastings Homemove in priority bands A, B, C, and D?

(c) What is the current average waiting time for sheltered housing applicants registered with Hastings Homemove in priority bands A, B, C and D?

Response

a) - None - Alexandra Park Mansions does not fall under Sussex Homemove Allocation Scheme. Optivo manages their own waiting list for this building. b) - Band D is specifically for those who are eligible to join our housing register and meet the criteria for sheltered housing or housing for older people's Scheme (HOPs), but they have no other housing need will be accepted into this band. However, households in other bands (A, B or C) can also bid on sheltered accommodation, providing they meet the criteria for that particular property e.g. age, number of bedrooms required etc. No of households currently on our housing register: Band A = 312 Band B = 454 Band C = 516 Band D = 258 c) - Please see our waiting times at https://www.hastings.gov.uk/housing/social_housing/new/#wait
