Please provide correspondence with Program Officer and Mr Holux in relation to the Revised

1) Please provide correspondence with Program Officer and Mr. Holux, in relation to the Hastings Borough Council Revised Submission  Development Managment Plan  Main Modifications being put on deposit for consultation. These should include all correspondence in relation to this process to and from the Council. The communications should also include with  the pre-process and final position by the inspector signing of the Plan as Sound.

Response

Hastings Borough Council had no direct correspondence with Mr Hollox, the inspector appointed to undertake the examination in public (EIP) of the Hastings Development Management Plan.

In accordance with how Local Plan EIPs are conducted, all such correspondence between the Council and the appointed Inspector is made via the Examination Programme Officer.

The information supplied under FOI212896 includes correspondence relating to the Main Modifications consultation process and the request to the Council from the Inspector to undertaken consultation on his proposed Main Modifications. By "pre-process" this is understood to mean the request from Hastings Borough Council to Mr Hollox to make recommendations to the Council to enable the Plan to be found sound.

With regard to "communications" and the "inspector signing of the Plan as Sound" correspondence relating to the 'fact check version' of the Inspector's report, along with the final version of the Inspector's report have previously been supplied to you under previous Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.

In addition, following the issuing of the Inspector's report, correspondence relating to his subsequent request to the Council to make a single modification to his report has also been supplied to you under an FOI request. This information having therefore already been supplied, has not been included in the response to FOI212896.
