Responded Mon 20 May 20191) Whether the maintenance of parks, gardens, and grass verges in your council is carried out by council or sub contracted employees?2) Whether the trade recycle collection is carried out by council or sub contracted employees?3) Whether maintenance/repair of waste vehicle fleet is carried out by council or sub contracted employees?
Response
1. The maintenance of Parks and Gardens is carried out by tendered out contractors. The grass verges is not maintained by Hastings Borough Council - these are maintained by East Sussex County Council please visit their website for further information: www.eastsussex.gov.uk
2. Hastings Borough Council do not have any trade collections.
3. Waste and Recycling is carried out by our contractor Kier who are responsible for their own fleet
