Sussex Community Risk Register
Preparing our communities for emergencies
We are members of the Sussex Resilience Forum, the local resilience forum for Sussex.
Local resilience forums bring together emergency services, councils, utilities and other essential public and voluntary services to work in partnership to support the local community during incidents and emergencies.
All local resilience forums are required to publish a Community Risk Register setting out the most likely risks and the plans in place to manage them.
The Community Risk Register for Sussex has been updated for 2023 to reflect recent changes to the local risks we face, and national guidance from the Government.
What can you do to stay safe and be prepared?
Knowing what do to during an emergency is an important part of being prepared. Being well-informed means that we are all better able to respond in an emergency and minimise the impact on our community.
