Housing Strategy Steering Group
The Steering group is the vehicle through which the Strategy was developed. The group included membership from community, public sector and other partners.
Its key tasks were to:
- be responsible for deciding the vision and priorities for the strategy;
- act to bring together intelligence, expertise and community, public sector and business support;
- to identify opportunities for stakeholder engagement and ensure communities’ voices are involved throughout the development of the strategy;
- influence and shape the strategy development;
- focus on the needs of the whole borough, with an inclusive concern for all residents, especially those facing the most barriers to securing a decent home.
Steering Group Subgroups

- New housing supply and related infrastructure to create sustainable neighbourhoods
