Emergency planning
In addition to carrying out risk assessments you must also consider what could foreseeably go wrong. An Emergency Plan should be drawn up to deal with emergencies.
This written plan should include details of what you intend to do in the event of an emergency. Emergencies include fire, accidents, crowd disturbances, bomb scares, adverse weather, the need to evacuate the site, and so on. The Plan should include:
- Actions to be taken in the case of any of these emergencies occurring;
- Who will undertake each action;
- How the correct people are informed about the emergency;
