David Hinton (Resident)

David lives in Central St Leonards and works in Hastings town centre. He grew up in Hastings and has always lived in and around the CHART communities. He is Founder and Managing Director of Hastings Works, a social enterprise working with people and businesses to tackle unemployment and underemployment in the area.

His background is in Human Resources, Recruitment and Welfare to Work and he is a strong advocate for social enterprise. In 2018 he co-founded Rebellion FSE to support the growth of social enterprise in the South East. He is also Chair of the Local Governing Body at ARK Helenswood Academy Hastings.
