Active Hastings sessions paused
All Active Hastings under 18's sessions are on pause for the time being. We will update our website and social media when we know more.
Session InformationPlease read the following guidelines carefully before attending any face to face classes so that we can ensure that our sessions are safe and in line with government guidelines:
All participants must have completed the online registration form before attending their first session. This is a requirement for the government's track and trace system, as well as our own monitoring.
Participant numbers will be limited to 29 or less per session, depending on the activity and the available space. Completing the registration form does not guarantee a space. You must also contact the instructor in advance to book.
You MUST stay 2m apart AT ALL TIMES including on arrival and after the session.
You MUST wash your hands before and after the session.
You MUST NOT share equipment. Where equipment is provided, each participant will be provided with one set for use during the session. All equipment will be cleaned between every session.
If you are feeling unwell at all you MUST NOT attend a session.
You MUST bring your own water bottles and enough water for the whole session. Water will not be supplied.
Hand sanitiser will be present at each class, but please bring your own, if possible.
Please do not bring any other personal items with you.
To keep within permitted numbers, only participants are allowed stay within the session's allocated space. Please do not bring children with you to the sessions.
If you feel you can't adhere to the guidelines above please do not attend a session. If participants do not adhere to the guidelines they will be removed from the session immediately, and if necessary, the session will be stopped.

1 -1.45pmJoin Eugenie for an online Pilates class. Improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility. Reduce stress, tension and the risk of injury. Please ensure you have read our guidelines before attending this class. What should you wear? Any clothes that you are comfortable exercising in with bare feet or socks with grip.
Walking Football
Mondays starting 3rd August
Alexandra Park Multi-Use Games Area
6-7.30pmAre you aged 50+? Wish you could still play, but find the game too fast these days? Walking football is a great way to keep fit. Playing the game with only being able to walk reduces injury and remember, no sprinting, running or jogging, only walking. Please ensure you have read our guidelines before attending this class. What should you wear? Any clothes that you are comfortable exercising in and trainers. What do you need to bring? A bottle of water.

FREEA mixture of cardio, body conditioning and HIIT. Please fill in our online registration form before booking for the first time and then email htambeh@hastings.gov.uk to book your space. Please ensure you have read our guidelines before attending this class. What should you wear? Any clothes that you are comfortable exercising in and trainers. What do you need to bring? A mat or towel, a bottle of water and a Pilates ball (this is not essential, only if you have one). Join the #FitGotReal Facebook group for added motivation and to keep up to date.
Beginners HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training

FreeJoin Georges for a high intensity workout, suitable for all fitness levels. Booking is essential for this class. Please ensure you have read our guidelines before attending this class. What should you wear? Any clothes that you are comfortable exercising in and trainers. What do you need to bring? Please bring a mat or towel to lie on for the stretches at the end. Don't forget your water bottle!
Over 27s Football
Thursdays
Torfield Multi-Use Games Area, Bembrook Road
6-8pmThursday football - made for mates! Join us for a no commitment game of football once a week. Booking is currently essential for this session. Please fill in our online registration form before booking for the first time and then email ggouet@hastings.gov.uk to book your space. This session will follow FA guidelines for return to football during Covid-19.
