Personal Searches
What is a Personal Search?
This is an inspection of the Local Land Charges Register.
Please note that a Personal Search does not provide all the information given on an official LLC1 search. It is the responsibility of the person carrying out the Personal Search to identify the land/property and to make any note of information held on the Register.Land to be searched
You need to identify the land you wish to search. Please advise us of the address(es) of all the rateable premises/land within your search extent and provide us with a plan (preferably with a red line outlining the extent you wish to search).
You can look at the Council Tax and Business Rates lists at www.voa.gov.uk to determine the number of rateable premises/land.
This will prevent further clarification being sought and will ensure that the correct information is made available to you.If you submit a personal search and CON29 individual questions request at the same time, if it is not clear what rateable premises/land are being searched then we will capture the personal search request for all land included in the area identified on the plan provided (unless there is a discrepancy) and we will ask for clarification on the CON29 element of your request.
