Christmas tree recycling service

Hastings Borough Council's free Christmas tree recycling service will return to Harmers Lane, Alexandra Park for another year. This service will be available daily from 30 December until 16 January, 8.30am to 4pm.

Cllr Ali Roark, lead for Environment at Hastings Borough Council, said:

"When the festivities are over, and it's time to take down your Christmas tree, why not bring it along to Harmers Lane and recycle it for free?

"Our recycling service will turn your trees into healthy, compostable material that can be used in the park, and it also helps keep our town tidy too."

Please make sure all decorations are removed before trees are left.
