Requested Mon 26 March 2018
Responded Mon 11 June 2018
A recent article concerning police contributions from CIL and S106 ( https://www.hastingsobserver.co.uk/news/revealed-thousands-of-homes-set-for-sussex-but-police-won-t-be-claiming-a-penny-to-help-them-cope-with-growth-1-8427159)
"We seek contributions for developments where appropriate, and subject to the viability of the development. We are aware of the 100 home policy, and for developments of that nature, we would consult with the police."
Since HBC has not opted in to CIL then this must refer to S106 agreements.
Could you please provide me with the following information for the last ten years:
- The applications where HBC has consulted with the police concerning S106 contributions 2. The applications that have had S106 contributions allocated for the police
The information provided should include
The application number and description
The date of the application
The number of housing units provided
The value of the police S106 contribution
Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding.
Hastings Borough Council does not keep a record of when the Police have been consulted regarding S106 contributions.
