Please view the guidance on the Government's website for further information on when to wear wearing face coverings and exemptions, including whether you should be wearing them at your workplace.
The council is also urging residents to wear a face covering, if possible, whenever they go out and are around others, to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
When wearing a face covering you must cover your mouth and nose. It is important to use face coverings properly and wash your hands before putting them on and taking them off.
There are many places you can buy them, both online and in stores. Alternatively, you can make your own.
Even if you are wearing a face covering please remember to continue to social distance and wash your hands regularly. Face coverings do not eliminate the risk of catching COVID-19.
Please remember that not everyone is able to wear face covering.
