Additional Restrictions Grant update
The following changes that have been made to our Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) policy with immediate effect.
Scheme extended to end of June 2021
Minimum loss of turnover reduced from 30% to 20% when comparing 2020/21 figures with 2019/20 figures
SEISS recipients with fixed business property costs are now eligible
If you have previously applied and been refused, and would now be eligible under the revised criteria, you do not need to reapply - we will automatically review your original claim.More infoRestart Grant application form
Applications are now open, and we hope for payments to start being made from 6 April.
Who is eligible?
Non-essential retail, hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym businesses with rated premises that are still trading on the 1 April 2021.
Businesses in liquidation, struck of or subject to a striking off notice on this day will not be eligible.

How do I apply?
You can apply via the form below. You will still need to apply if you've received COVID-19 business grants through us before, as new information is need.
To fill out this form, you will need your:
- Business Rates Account Number
- Business Bank Details
- Proof of Business ID
How much funding is available?
Rateable value is based on the value on 1 April 2021.
Non-essential retail Business Grant level Businesses with a rateable value of exactly £15,000 or under £2,667 Businesses with a rateable value over £15,000 and less than £51,000 £4,000 Businesses with a rateable value of exactly £51,000 or over £6,000 Hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym businesses Business Grant level Businesses with a rateable value of exactly £15,000 or under £8,000 Businesses with a rateable value over £15,000 and less than £51,000 £12,000 Businesses with a rateable value of exactly £51,000 or over £18,000
