Additional Restrictions Grant update
The following changes that have been made to our Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) policy with immediate effect.
Scheme extended to end of June 2021
Minimum loss of turnover reduced from 30% to 20% when comparing 2020/21 figures with 2019/20 figures
SEISS recipients with fixed business property costs are now eligible
If you have previously applied and been refused, and would now be eligible under the revised criteria, you do not need to reapply - we will automatically review your original claim.More info

Business grants summary Scheme Who is it for? Type of payment Status Restart Grants from 1 April Non-essential retail, hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym businesses. One-off payment dependent on type of business and rateable value. Open, apply here. Additional Restrictions Grant Businesses who have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. This means a reduced turnover of 20% or more for the period 1 April 2020 to date of
application, in comparison to the previous year.

Must be a rated premise
First payment covers 42 days of lockdown from 5 January until 16 February. Second payment to cover 44 days from 16 February to 31 March 2021. Payments are being made, apply here for the second payment.
