The Live, Work, Thrive team has been supporting people to find affordable and good quality private rented accommodation, or helping them find and move into social rented accommodation.
The team also delivers Tenancy Readiness training, helping our clients with the knowledge and skills to know how to manage their tenancy.
We also support our clients when they move in to new accommodation, for example, by helping them set up their direct debits for payments, identifying local services, and helping them access grants and loans to buy furniture and other items to make their house a home.
The team also supports landlords if there are any challenges with the tenancy and provides a named contact to be the first point of call if anything goes wrong.
We find that for most of our clients having a stable home is the first step to moving back to the jobs market, or finding a job, so it is a crucial step in their progression.
