New Scheme for 2020

What we are consulting on

The current Housing Selective Licensing Scheme was introduced on 15 October 2015. Under the Housing Act 2004 a scheme is only allowed to run for five years. Therefore it will finish on 15 October 2020. We are seeking your views on a new scheme.

What we are proposing

Why we are consulting

Before we can introduce a new scheme, we need to consult with everyone who is interested to see what they think. We must run a formal consultation for 10 weeks to meet our legal duties.

We had consultation events on 15 January 2020 at 10am and 20 January 2020 .
