We would like to invite you to a workshop to help bring potential Connecting Hastings and Rother Together (CHART) Community-led local development (CLLD) applicants and their partners together to discuss their projects for the CHART areas. Proposed items for discussion are as follows:
"What is CHART CLLD?"
"How organisations can access project funding"
"Ideas for projects and partnerships"
The workshop will take place on Wednesday 27 June 10.00 - 12.00 at Muriel Matters House, Breeds Place, Hastings with arrival and coffee from 9.30.
To book your place, please visit our Eventbrite site. Please make sure you provide us with your email address so that we can send you information to help your project planning prior to the event.
There will be a second workshop in Bexhill in early July. You are more than welcome to attend both events should you wish.
Connecting Hastings and Rother Together (CHART) is a Community-led Local Development Programme with access to some £2.8m of European Structural Investment Funds (ESIF) to support projects that bring a fresh approach to tackling deep-rooted problems in deprived communities within Hastings and Bexhill. It is particularly focused on:
"Helping disadvantaged people to find and keep work locally"
"Helping disadvantaged people to start a business or set up as self-employed"
"Stimulating the local economy to create jobs suitable for local people"
CHART will support individuals through investment of European Social Funds (ESF) and enterprises through investment of the European Regional Development Funds (ERDF).
The programme has been recently approved and will run until March 2022. It will continue when the UK leaves the European Union. The first call for projects from organisations interested in applying to this fund goes live in late June 2018. This will be a two stage process.
If you would like to attend the workshop being held in Hastings Town Centre, please register by 17.00 on Friday 22 June 2018.
