Richard Street (Resident)
I’ve lived in Hastings for nearly 40 years, most of them in Ore. I taught modern languages in schools in different parts of the country and English as a Second Language in Hastings and in France. I joined the Civil Service in 1996 working first in the Child Support Agency and then the Department for Transport. I took early retirement in 2010.
I was Hastings Borough councillor for Ore for a total of 12 years and have been a director of Hastings & Rother Credit Union since 2002. I’m a governor of Sandown Primary school and a resident member of the Big Local North-East Hastings committee.
